About Chef Schonberg
A true southern belle Chef Amanda Schonberg has a great love for regional desserts. After completing culinary school in 2011 her background in food service management has allowed her to manage and work for Fortune 500 companies such as Sam’s Wholesale, Chartwells’s Dining, and Great American Cookie Company.
In 2015 she started Chef Schonberg’s Sweets; a desert’s catering company specializing in “Old Fashioned desert’s with a new flair.” Her unique approach to taking standard desserts and adding a unique twist to them quickly became popular. She has catered to celebrity artists such as Mindless Behavior, Gina Neely, Juvenille, Brian Mcknight ,Countess Vaugh, LSU athlete’s and a host of others. She has been featured in numerous local publications and national such as Southern Celebrations Magazine, American Cake Decorating and Fox news. She operates her online bakery daily in partnership with delivery services such as Uber Eats and Waitr. She is the co- founder of Sugar Coin Academy, an educational academy to assist bakers and treat makers with operating a more profitable and knowledgeable business.
