Whether you've been working with fondant for years, or you want a non-intimidating way to learn how to work with this popular medium, this Ombre Key to My Heart Cake is going to be a great opportunity to learn & perfect your fondant skills.

In this 3 hour class, you will learn how to correctly cover and stack a 3 tier cake in fondant. You will learn how to properly dowel each tier to help insure that your cake remains secure. You will also learn how to properly color fondant to create an ombre look on your cake. Other skills covered in the class include: decorating the cake with a silver frame & designer key hole, and finalizing the cake with a 3-D heart topper. Each Student will walk away with a completely decorated, beautiful 3 tier cake.

About Pepsy

Learn how to create a gorgeous ombre style fondant covered cake at The Ultimate Sugar Show with Pepsy GarciaVerónica Pepsy Garcia lives in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Always with the love of baking to escape from the 'Real World', she started with box cakes as a young bean. Later on, she started baking from scratch, with some recipes that have been handed down from some very wise bakers that she's known throughout her life.

She graduated from Cerritos College with a Business Management Associates Degree. Then, transferred to Northwood University where she received a Bachelors of Business Administration. Two Months later, she packed her bags and went to Toronto, Canada to attend the Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts, graduating from the Professional Cake Designer Program. After returning from Canada she enrolled in Cerritos College once again to gain the Professional Baking and Pastry Chef Title. Today, she finds herself running her own business, completing weekly orders, attending and competing in national cake shows, proving weekly Demonstrations at Bakers Bodega Express, and transitioning to becoming a Confectionary Arts Instructor.
