Extra Sugar | Gravity Defying Spinning Globe Cake
Great for beginners and intermediate cakers who want to up their game with these exciting fun techniques you can apply on many many other designs .
REAL CAKE and HANDS ON Class . (* Due to the time constraint we have, we will be doing the Bottom Heart and the Spinning Globe on top of it )
Join us in this class as you learn how to make a structure that will enable you to balance your cakes on a point , make it look like it is falling but it won't -- and add a special technique where you can spin any tier of your cake - depending on the design you have in mind.
You will be have a bit of structure bootcamp in this class because we will use two different structures materials. You will also learn to scale this class into much larger versions and can also make entirely different designs based on the basics of what you will learn.
We will work with real cake , ganache , structures and styrofoam . Students will work with real cake - just so you understand that this is not a demo, this is a hands on class and you will use real cake and ganache . As with 99% of structure cakes , there are some parts that are not meant to be eaten ( structure material for example ) ... so come to class ready to expand what you know and get your hands dirty with the real thing and make your own cake!
