Ever wanted to learn how to design a cake to look like a delicious meal other than cake? How about a cake that looks like chicken & waffles? Join Michelle Honeman in her Southern Style Chicken & Waffles hands-on class where she will teach you her unique style of cake design which turns cake and other sugar materials into art that resembles other real (non-cake) dishes.
In this class, you will learn various techniques such as modeling, carving, and working with isomalt. You'll even learn how to use a torch to help add realistic details and effects to your sugar art. In this class we will also learn different luster dust techniques that can be used to help enhance your creations or to help you make smaller pieces look more realistic.
Whether your new to cake design or you've been doing this for a while, this class includes multiple techniques that cakers of all levels (beginner to advance) will be able to apply in their every day caking!
